Ballina Urban Stormwater Management Plan

Hydrosphere Consulting was engaged by Ballina Shire Council to prepare an Urban Stormwater Management Plan for the town of Ballina.

 

The development of this key strategic plan required stakeholder consultation, issues prioritisation, options development and strategy implementation for stormwater management activities within the urban areas of Ballina Shire. Consultation activities included webpage, online community survey, direct contact with key groups, workshops and meetings, posters and public display.

 

The plan recommended a range of fundamental strategies to improve administration and governance as well as catchment-based priority improvement works.
