Project Management, Subcontractor Engagement and Risk Mitigation
All our key personnel have significant experience in the delivery of multi-disciplinary projects and the engagement of specialist subcontractors. Our project management systems are based on ISO9001:2015. We provide robust project management services including specialist advice, brief preparation, tendering, contractor management, cost monitoring and client reporting.
Hydrosphere Consulting employs various tools to manage our projects including specialised software for our project timekeeping, cost management, reporting and invoicing. This system allows us to customise project structure, perform easy project health checks and provide efficient financial planning. This package integrates with MYOB AccountRight to provide the basis for the company’s financial system. Our project planning, scheduling and cost estimation is undertaken utilising MS Project and MS Excel. Our project timelines provide a clear summary of milestones, critical dates and deliverables.
Risk assessment and adaptive management approaches are included in our projects. We visualise risk in terms of the risk to the environment, public safety and assets posed by identified threats, but also in terms of the risk that these aspects may pose to the likely success of any management option being considered as part of our services. Our approach is an adaption of the risk management framework described in AS/NZS ISO31000:2009.
